Gallons and gallons and gallons of bourbon! A nice tour through the Buffalo Trace distillery KY April 2003 "Buffalo trace" is where buffalo herds had crossed the river here. I think that the word, "trace", had applied more widely to buffalo trails throughout the state, and I read somewhere that they seemed (to the first white explorers) like boulevards through the forest.
