Mostly, I used the video camera. Look at the ends of the wooden logs used as beams for the upper stories and roofs. They are well over 1000 years old, and most of them were brought from over 50 and 60 miles away -- apparently on wide straight roads. The varying thickness of the stones is notable. I believe that the purpose of the peculiarly shaped doors here --and windows elsewhere -- is unknown.
