Larry and I Camping at Oshkosh, WIS 1989

We flew across Ontario, Michigan, and Lake Michigan (which seems VERY wide with a single engine) to land among the 1000's of airplanes visiting Oshkosh. Imagine Grand Central Station at rush hour --- but in three dimensions and at high speeds. It was interesting.
We camped next to the plane in Larry's pop-up tent and spent the days wandering around the exhibits, inspecting airplanes of all kinds, talking with people, and watching air shows. It is a huge event and worth seeing whether you fly in or drive in.
