Patching Camp Roof - Fall 2000
It was a foredoomed project; for the roof covering was literally folding and sliding off the roof boards under the tremendous weight and movement of winter ice. You can see some of the folds in the asphalt. Underneath, the porch was sagging and pulling away from the cabin.
Two years later, major repair was necessary to save the building.
