This little tent camper has many 10's of 1000's of miles under it (and many tire replacements). Paul has had it since 2000, if I remember correctly.
This location is at Ft. Robinson, in western Nebraska, next to U.S.Route 20. Agate Fossil National Monument, Toadstool Geological Park, Car Henge, and Hudson-Meng Bison Bone Bed are all reachable from here. I met an interesting man at the last place who spends his summers at the bone bed (temperature in the 100's) and his winters in Messina, NY (temperatures often way below zero). What is the opposite of "snow bird"?
My memories of this tent camper are many and all good, but what come to mind at the moment are very cold nights in Alberta, hurricane-like winds in the Columbia River Valley, forest-fire smoke in Deadwood,SD, and a manic kid in Banff who rode his bicycle full speed into it while Gwen, Paul, and I were sitting inside. Oh yes ... and of flat tires.

Below is a picture of quite another way to travel, far superior in many respects, like .... well, in all respects except gas mileage. 2001
