Welcome to Coats House, built by Moses Coats in 1835, and lovingly refurbished for your comfort. It has all the old style charm of wide plank floors, ornate woodwork,beamed ceilings and claw foot bathtub, with all the modern conveniences. The stately house is situated on 75 scenic acres minutes from Cooperstown. There are shade trees, a pond, stream, and large lawn areas for outdoor enjoyment. The old hops barn is reminiscent of days gone by. We are only one turn from Cooperstown on Rt. 166, also very close to Glimmerglass Park and the Opera.
